thiers alot of ways ;one is to buy a crossover cables they cost around 1$ per foot run the other:: is buy a inexpensive hub with cat 5 cables or alittle more money: is to buy a router, just need a networking card in each comp
you need a switch to go between the 2 machines.in other words, you need a router.wireless or not .wont matter.that's if you can plug an ethernet cable into each 1.the 2 machines will need to be networked but that's easy.the software with the router should explain how.

you can use usb cable as well but more than likely you will still need a router.
use your tutorial in start. there you can learn the easy steps to linking two computers together
Here is a very easy / enexpensive way to do it. The only thing you will need is a Crossover cable long enough to connect the two computers. Its a specific type of Ethernet cable. After that just do the following:

This is assuming that both Computers use Windows XP

- First you will need to have an Icon on the Desktop called "My network places"
