What Internet Explorer is better for crappy or slow computers?

I have a Windows XP [Service Pack 2] computer and is running a bit slow because it has been surfed for porn occasionally. I'm looking for a Web Explorer that is made for slow desktop computers but haven't had any luck. Right now i have Mozilla Firefox and its not working out with me. I just downloaded Internet Explorer 7 and im going to see if that amuses me. In the mean time could anyone suggest any new Explorers?

Your problem is more likely spyware installed on the machine by the porn sites, and not the browser. IF FireFox is slow, anything Microsoft will crawl.

Download Spybot:Search %26 Destroy and see how many spyware programs are eating up your resources. Spyware can bring a system to it's knees very quickly. And most anti-virus programs are useless against spyware.

Be sure to have it download all the updates at the same time it loads the programs.
well it depends on the hardware of your pc, but i was able to use firefox 2 in this pc:

processor: 680 mhz

ram 86

windows 98

so if u have windows xp, u have a pc way better than this one,

so firefox 2 and internet explorer 7 should work...

maybe u can reinstall windows or just, defragment it, search for viruses, errors, etc.

i dont reccomend u another explorer,i reccomend pc maintanance
