Today in the computer ERA, irrespective of the department you are in, most of the graduates end up in computer field. A combination of the department wiht the college will always help u in getting a good job. Academic along wiht communication skill and luck will place u thru the campus recruitment.

Above all that, experience in the filed of your interest, in the later stage becomes ur area of expertise/excellence. In the long run u become the most richest/happiest person in the world.

Electrical Engineering is all about electrical machines, Antenna and TV, microwave etc.,

Computers would be software, etc.,

Mechanical will be with computers (CADD,ProE), machine workshop, plumbing, foundry etc.,

Talk to your seniors and fidn out where u will fit in and choose the one based on ur interest.

Theres no field that does not have any job vacany. Oppurtunity is what u create for urself.

All the best.
Presently lot of jobs are being offered in computers and Warangal ranks among the best of RECs(now renamed as NITs) so preferable will be a course in computers here.

IIITs are being ranked just below NITs as on date but I feel insted of going for a degree in mechanical or electrical one should prefer degree in computers at IIIT if not at warangal.

Pilani %26 BHU both are among the top institutions and no harm to join these.

Electrical %26 Mechanical both are evergreen branches but you will have to go for a MBA with these.
