Computers can be used incorrectly causing more problems than they should.



Computers can be used to make life simpler; but it depends on how you want to define simple and how far you want to go with the TANSTAFL (there ain't no such thing as a free lunch) idea.



Example of how they make life more difficult:



I worked for a company where the policy is: "you must print and keep every email"



Example where they make life easier:



CEO's for advil, tylenol, bayer, etc.. are wealthier so their life is easier.

Only if you use Windows. Mac OS X makes my life easier.
I disagree with you. computers solve more problems......
True in one respect.



E-mailing and text messaging does not relay the tone of voice so they are often mis-read.
I would be suicidal without my computer, so mabye that would solve the problem of ME.



But seriously are you nuts? The whole world would be almost at a standstill without IT.
In the future, we will be beings made up of data, so... no.
