You can do two things...

The easiest is to right-click on the Internet Explorer icon and choose "Properties" from the popup menu. When the "Internet Properties" dialog comes up, click the "Delete Files" button, followed by the "Clear History" button. This will remove the history of your web surfing from Internet Explorer.

Now if you want to be extra paranoid, you may want to remove all traces that you've done anything. What files you've opened, what programs you've run, etc, etc.

The way you do this is to get "Windows Defender" from Microsoft. It's their free spyware removal tool, which has some really nice footprint removal features!

Go to http://microsoft.com/antispyware and install Windows Defender. Once you have it installed, go to "Advanced Tools". In Advanced Tools, there is a button marked "Tracks Eraser". It has options to remove "Previously opened files" and histories from Acrobat Reader, Google Toolbar, ICQ, and about 50 other programs. It also removes Internet Explorer histories, cookies and autocomplete passwords and forms. Basically, it lets you remove any proof you've ever used your computer!
