How many of you think its wrong to censor a computer down to blocking access to even autotrader.com, apartmentguide.com and orbitz.com? This happens on military computers, tell me how this is just or unjust? Freedom? Is that an issue?

I think if your job provides you with a computer for work they have every right to block whatever they want. Why would you be surfing apt.guide or autotrader when you're supposed to be working? They wouldn't have to block those sites if people did their job instead of messing around. Especially govt. computers.
Yes, its right to censor that in the workplace, infact, they should block you from having Internet Explorer on your pc, at my Moms work, they mess around online and dont get work done, if you want to go online then do it at home, your there to work and get paid to work, you dont get paid to surf the net.
yes it is justified if the workplace owns the computers. they are tools for business and not to be played with.

The military is free to limit its computers any way it wishes. If you wish to avoid that, use your own computer, pay for your own server and do it on your own time.
