One chassis containing all the components of two computers. I guess I will have to build the chassis myself. Are there any issues of over heating or other things that I need to be aware of? Its just nicer to have one box in the corner instead of two
I want to build two separate computers into one chasis. Anyone got any good ideas on where to start with this?spyware
Mostly be aware of (1) overheating and (2) power supply
re overheating - - Be sure that you leave room for air circulation inside of the box. Be sure that you leave "ventilation" screen (or whatever) for air flow. Be sure that you install cooling fans.
re power supply - - Will you be installing one big power supply or two smaller ones? (I think it is okay to install one big one. ???) You want to be sure that it has enough power to supply all of the components with enough power.
I assume that you will be installing two NICs, two video cards, etc, etc. ???
Do you already know about KVM switch? I use them a lot. It is a "box" that allows you to use ONE keyboard, video and mouse (that is what KVM stands for) for 2 (or more) computers. Very nice. Saves a lot of room.
Send me an email if you have questions.
Have Fun.

You will have to modify or build your own case, but its possible..Just make sure you have extra fans for cooling...Im not sure why you want to put 2 pc's together, A larger hdd with a partition and a OS on each would be more appropriate..
-yea ur prolly gonna wanna get ur components first to see how big ur gonna build ur case. [or at least have an idea of the dimensions and everything. then allow room for upgrading and cooling.
-definitely make sure u got ur cooling materials.
Get two shuttle cases - one computer in each, stand one on top of the other.
