Is there a company the will buy your old broken down computers?

i heard from a friend that some places will buy your old computer from you. they apparently use some of the old parts to make new and improved computers. i forgot to ask him today, but would any of you know where i can find such a place? vi have 5 broken down computers! it's crazy!

I think you have to pay to get rid of them.
I think HP will pay you money for your old computer if you use it as a "trade-in". So they will give you money towards a new computer if you trade-in.
Just start calling around and local privately owned computer businesses. There are tons of stores in my small town that buy used/broken computers.
