If I install one CD program onto two different computers or laptops, will it give me any problems? My mom told me that she installed a program on one computer and when she had the same program installed on my grandma's computer, the original installation screwed up and stopped working.
Plus, how many times can you install one program and is there a limit?I always thought that once you purchase something,it was completely yours and under your control. If thats what these piggishly corrupted companies are trying to do,then they shouldn't stop you from installing a program more than once.It has to be wrong in some way.I have never tried any of this before.I need a good answer.
What would happen if I install 1 program onto 2 different computers or laptops?nortin
Programs that require online access to run, will quite often do what your Mom said, that is shut down the first installation when you put the program on a second computer. Again this is related to the license agreement.
You are confusing apples and oranges when you make the comment " I always thought that once you purchase something,it was completely yours and under your control."
You bought the right to put the program on your computer and use it, not the right to distribute free copies to others, and others would include your second, third and so on computers.
If you buy an engine for your car, you can not expect to be able to put that engine into two cars at once, so why should the software company let you do that very thing with their 'engine', the software that runs the program?
