I need to physically hook up 2 computers to 1 printer, NOT networked. How can I do this, will a USB hub work in reverse?

Connect the 2 PCs to a hub using the usb cable. From the hub, connect the outgoing cable to another usb cable that mates with it.(This is if the cable is not detachable) Make sure the end going into the printer is the square head type. It should work.
