Transferring files between outlook on two computers?

I just started using Outlook and am trying to figure out how to transfer notes, calendars, tasks, etc between two computers simply. Email is on an IMAP account so it can be picked up anyway. Is there an easy way to transfer this information? Thanks.

Yes, you can export your mailbox (Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, Deleted Items, Sent Items, etc.) to a .PST file, move it to another computer using network connection or portable drive and then open it using Outlook on the other computer.

This will transfer everything but your mail settings (User name, password, POP/SMTP/IMAP server name, etc.).

You need to write this down and re-enter it on the second computer to get it to send and receive.

To export: open Outlook, select "File" from the main menu, select "Import/Export", then select Export, to PST file, select your personal folder and check the "include subfolders box", select a location (that is easy to find) to export the file.

To import: Take the file you made and transfer it to the other computer. Open Outlook, select "File", "Import/Export", Import from PST file and import the file.

This is a little light on detail but if you check Outlook Help for exporting and importing PST files you can get more details.

I hope this helps.
