I am 66 have used computers at work since 1988, and live in a 55 plus community. I want to teach seniors the basics of using a computer so they can communicate with their grandchildren, children, etc. and find on line issues that affect them.

North Carolina State University did a program either last year or a couple of years ago that helped in teaching seniors to use computers. You may want to try checking with them to see if they have the resources to help you.

Are you a 501 C 3 NPO? If not then getting a "grant" is probably not going to happen. Most community colleges have get aquainted computer courses for the general public. I have found seniors learn computers best one on one.
