When I say tomorrow I mean like many years from now.

What will the next generation PC's be like? How will computers advance?

You know, maybe not the next generation. Maybe not for a while. Let's take a look at the problems of today.

Some like it BIG

Some like it SMALL

Many websites are fixed, so SMALL is TOO SMALL or BIG is way too BIG.

Some like TEXT only

Some like graphics everywhere

Some like a talking computer

Some like no noise

NOBODY likes to do Computer maintenance. People do not like to do Backups. People don't want firewalls, anti-virus or anti-spam. People don't want to have to RUN scans all the time.

So here are some requirements for a new computer in some future generation.

- no need for security

- no need for backups

- everything just plugs in and WORKS

- it comes in all sizes

You see, a computer could be a tiny little device like a WebTV. Maybe as small as a Cell phone or iPod. Just plug it into a HUGE, or TINY screen. Plug in a BIG or TINY printer. It's wireless, so you don't need a connection to the internet... it has it. It probably has a tiny keyboard and Touch pad built-in, but you could easily plug in a keyboard, mouse or other input device as needed. But it is compatible with everything. The silly thing does not break when you drop it, or one of the plugs gets ripped out. Hey, those plugs should just COME OUT and not RIP the Jacks out of the device.
