umm, Im not sure that it will actually burn seeing that its plastic. But hey! thats something to experiment right? If its old and you don't used it anymore why not, live a little! =D
NO!!!! You are releasing heavy metals such as mercury and lead into the atmosphere that you breathe from and over time they will also leach into the water table that you drink from. Why not ship all of your old electronic into space where it will maybe prove hazardous someday to an invading force.

What do you mean by burn computers? Do you mean in a fire? I don't think so. I mean I don't think its bad for your health or the environment or anything, but if it was me, I would save the old computer just in case I ever needed a part from it in a future computer. Otherwise I would take it apart to learn more about it. If there are dangerous or personal files on the computer, you could just throw away the hard drive. Otherwise, you could purchase some software and wipe the hard drive to erase the personal files. However, make sure you know what you are doing, because there are many ways to recover data if you have the right tools.

No it's not, they have many toxic components, which would be released into the atmosphere, if burned. A computer is considered toxic waste. It should only be recycled, by experienced people. Some computer manufacturers, have recycle programs, contact the manufacturer.
