What is a good occupation in computers?

I enjoy the actual hands on taking apart and repairing of computers, but I don't want to do that all day with no human interaction.

I'd like something that will allow me to both do the hands on, yet still function as somewhat of a CSR since I'm currently involved in sales.

Is there really a balance between underpaid tech.and answering service...O.k. not the best choice of words. But that's all that's available in my area.

That and I have absolutely no desire to be a programmer all day! I don't have the patience for it.

How about IT? It's a pretty diverse field and you can learn a ton of stuff. All companies, especially the tech-based ones, need IT.

In many ways, it is a cross between tech and tech-support, only in this case your customers are also the ones who sign your paycheck...
