Being a Mechanical Engineer, Can I pursue MS in Computers?

I graduated in Mechanical Engineering from one of the best institutes of India. I am working in world's largest manufacturer of automobile (Hero Honda) for past 10 months. But I am not satisfied with the work content. And I am more inclined towards Computers right from my school days. I have in fact hosted two websites and done programming in VB.

Can I pursue MS in Computers and from which universities?

Or Should I switch to Software company?

Please guide me.

well being a computer student, i can tell you that u have the passion about computers. u just need polish your skills as you said u have already worked with VB, its not easy though. so my idea would be if u get a job in software house, then u can learn a lot instead of doing a new degree. degree tells you all the articles but its the practical work which counts in the end. so if u'll work for a software company, u can learn a lot and like wise, earn a lot 2!!
