how can i find out how many watts my computers power supply is? i have a dell diminsion 3100.

wow !! your still using a pc that has to be plugged in , geesh your using outdated technology !! . my computer runs off a dylethem crystal using a NCC1701D chip set. the only problem i have from time to time is when the thing goes into warp drive it heats up.

When you open up the case it is usually the big brick at the top of the case.

the power supply is within the casing. usually at the top near the pack. its not recommended to open your power supply under any circumstances unless a trained engineer
